About

I bought Capser off a lot in Austin. I went in and made an offer and they declined. 6 months later the car was still there. I went back and they asked if i was still interested and I said yes. I made another offer...but it was 1k lower than the previous one. They took it and Casper came home with me. Since I bought it in 2000 it has gone through a transformation of parts and accessories. I didnt build it for autocross, I built it for fun. By the time I was done I was placed in SSM or as some people call it $$M. I was bale to participate in enough events last year to win a SCCA Divisional Championship with her. I took 2nd in Baton Rouge, 1st in Galveston and 2nd in Ft. Worth. It was a lot of traveling....but it was SO MUCH FUN. If you have not partied with the ROAD TRIP RACING TEAM, you just have not partied.

Specs

It started with a 1.6l with 80k miles and blown shocks. She was and still is my daily driver. Next was an M45 supercharger and then the addiction began...

Mods

Casper is still my daily commuter. Now it sits on Tein Flex Fully Adjustable Coilovers and is powered by a built and blown 1.8l with a little bore to it. During Autocross the HOOSIER 225/45-15 A6's come out and they are mounted on 949 Racing 6UL's. These are some of the prettiest wheels I've ever seen on a Miata.
The blower is an MP62 and it is one of the original BRP 4 rib kits. Boost is about 12psi and I'm unsure on the HP since I have not had it to the dyno in a while. It has the Hard Dog Double Diagonal M2 Sport Bar.
