MELBOURNE, May 11 AAP - A former music teacher who sexually abused 11 girls had secret cameras in his home to film the assaults, including one fitted in a homemade toilet which filmed the girls using it, a court has heard.

Colin Harold Doo, 51, groomed his victims by befriending their families and gaining their trust, the Victorian Supreme Court heard.

He has pleaded guilty to 36 charges including six of rape, 12 of indecent acts with a child under 16 and seven of procuring a minor for child pornography.
