Its 1AM Monday morning here as I write this blog entry, come to think of it, I've been up for 22 hours! Why you ask? Well I started my day at 3am Sunday morning in getting ready to drive from San Marcos, Texas to Dallas/Forth Worth Texas (3.5 hours drive) to cover the 2009 Texas Region SCCA Autocross #4. Autocross:An accessible sport for those who love driving fast! At the SPOKES 2009 Autocross #5 I had mentioned that Ricardo, a reporter from the Austin American-Statesman newspaper, was very busy. What a great event! I think it is safe to say that everyone had a really fun time, even though it got blistering hot. I met tons of great new people and hope to see you all soon on the site! Its been less then 36 hours since we opened up the website and I've never been so excited in my life. Steven has been learning the system and planning his content gathering, even got a few interviews at an event. I have been in conversation about this project since the end of last year with both Truong & Steven. This community will establish a foundation of interest & growth in the amateur sport of autocross (Solo). This has been something lacking in the past, and although pysically based in South/Central Texas, will move across the country fast. I know this will grow virally & soon!
